Anti-Trump Protesters Plan To Boycott The Video Game Convention Intimidating Game Publishers To Cancel

Los Angeles – The Electronic Entertainment Expo, also known as E3 is one of the most important events in the video game industry.  Every year thousands of gaming enthusiasts and the video game press descend on to the Los Angeles Convention Center to check out the latest in video games.  Unfortunately two industry giants: EA and Activision, will not be at the event officially.

Citing public safety for their lack of participation, it is believed the companies will be targets of Anti-Trump Protesters who are planning a ruckus to disrupt the trade show.  Activision had a partnership with Presidential Candidate Donald Trump after publishing Real Estate Tycoon for PC back in 2005.  It is uncertain what Trump’s connection is to EA, but nonetheless the company is not taking any chances.

Anti-Trump protests have increasingly become violent and now it seems the protesters will join other organized groups that have impacting E3 in recent years including the Westboro Baptist Church and the Hell’s Angels motorcycle gang.
