PlayStation-4Soldier Receives Ovation As He Hugs His PlayStation 4

Atlanta – PFC Jermaine Simmons received the surprise of a lifetime when he reached the baggage claim of the Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport.  Having completed two years of active duty in Afghanistan the exhausted soldier was greeted by his wife and three young children.

Passengers scattered around the baggage carousel paused for a moment to clap and cheer for PFC Simmons who dropped his carry on bag and ran up to his family grabbing the PlayStation 4 console his wife brought with her.  After a long embrace with the boxed game console the soldier then acknowledged his wife and kids by asking them to carry his bags while he carried the game system.

“It was beautiful,” explains skycap Patty Pearson who was passing through the baggage area and noticed the commotion, “to see that young man reunited with his video game was really special.”

The Gaming Free Press was able to reach Mrs. Simmons later that day and she tells us that her husband was eager to play Call of Duty and that was “pretty much all he’s done since coming home.”
