Popular Speedrunner And Game Completionist Finishes Classic NES Strategy Game In Just Under 31 Hours

While some people are fawning over their country’s olympians, or complaining about their political candidates one man has moved closer to his goal of completing 714 NES games.

TheMexicanRunner, commonly referred to as TMR beat Romance of the Three Kingdoms II on the original Nintendo Entertainment system in thirty hours, fifty-seven minutes, and 19 seconds. The accomplishment was stretched over several days. This was shortly after his completion of The Miracle Piano which took over 91 hours.

While the accomplishment was one of many for the popular Twitch streamer, it certainly won’t be his last. With the goal of completing 714 games and having completing 555 of them he is well on his way to notoriety.
