Union City family promises retribution against canine responsible for destroying family’s game collection.
Pitbulls across the nation are being euthanized almost daily after victimizing humans. Recently one family suffered the ultimate insult when ‘Maggie’, their three year old dog ripped apart their Nintendo Entertainment System and their 13 games.
“It took me more than 20 years to collect those games,” explains the father Bob Spears, “there were some rare ones too, like Anticipation and Captain Skyhawk. We as a family discussed this and we are united in our decision.”
The decision he is referring to is to have Maggie put down.
“There were broken wires, and teeth marks in the cartridges, and slobber everywhere. That bitch disrespected us, and now she has to pay. I googled ‘kill shelter’ and found several places that will gladly take Maggie in.”
The Spears family has received death threats over the decision to have Maggie put down after the family spent $350 to put up a billboard saying they hate their dog and want it dead. During our interview a rock smashed threw the window of the Spears’ residence with a note taped to it. It said “Eat sh-t and die!”
Bob merely shrugged his shoulders and said “I appreciate the question, but I don’t know if dogs get a final meal before they are put down.”
