atari landfill gameA New Hampshire Mental Health Professional diagnosed a man as having brain damage after bidding on Atari landfill games.

The wife and kids of Gary Truedat are in mourning after the family’s patriarch was diagnosed with brain damage.  The father of five kids recently visited his marriage councilor and therapist to lament his wife’s aggravation over his recent eBay bids on several Atari landfill games.

The games that were dug up from a New Mexico landfill are currently receiving high bids on eBay.  Gary wanted in on the action and pawned his wife’s wedding ring to bid on several of the damaged and soiled game cartridges.  Once his wife found out, all hell broke loose.

We reached out to Gary’s wife Deborah who had this to say:

“Gary is a moron, a complete lunatic.  What idiot pawn’s his wife’s wedding ring to buy buried video game treasure?  I swear to god the therapist is right, Gary has brain damage!”

After Gary signed a release his therapist’s office submitted a letter to the Gaming Free Press describing Gary’s actions as being a symptom of a newly coined disease: “Jackass Meningitis.”

The Gaming Free Press will continue to follow this and other stories related to the Atari Dig eBay games.
