Ubisoft: The Open World Crime Drama Of Making A Murderer To Follow The Life And Times Of Steven Avery

Las Vegas – Video games have always been a staple of the Consumer Electronic’s Show and this year is no exception.  While Sony PlayStation and Valve is expected to show off new hardware offerings, game publisher Ubisoft announced a new upcoming software title based on the hit Netflix show Making a Murderer.

The show which has risen in popularity since its launch on December 18th has spawned a line of merchandise ranging from mugs to t-shirts.  Industry insiders speculated that it was only a matter of time until a video game was marketed.

While Ubisoft was unable to show any footage from the new title, it has been described as an “open world masterpiece not unlike Grand Theft Auto 5”.  It is expected to be released on both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

We can expect game footage and possibly a playable demo at this year’s E3 expo June 14th – 16th.
