The Cosby Show will be the next LEGO themed video game to be shown at E3 next week.
There are plenty of LEGO video games based on popular licensed properties. Everything from Batman, to Pirates of the Caribbean to the always popular StarWars. But next week at the Electronic Entertainment Expo the public will get to feast their eyes on the latest LEGO adaptation: The Cosby Show.
“The beauty of the LEGO brand is that it can be adapted to anything,” explains Karl Bullstein an investment banker from Missouri, “Today it’s StarWars, next year it could be Hunger Games, but next week, its all about The Cosby Show”.
The Cosby Show ran for 8 seasons from 1984 to 1992 and was for many years the number one show in its time slot until Fox moved The Simpsons to Thursday nights to complete directly against the Cosbys. On an interesting side note LEGO recently released The Simpson’s themed LEGOs and Fox broadcasted a LEGO themed Simpson’s episode no more than a month ago.
Although the plot to LEGO: The Cosby Show is unknown at this time it could be expected to loosely follow the plot of the television show where the father, played by Bill Cosby himself, was a doctor, and his wife was a lawyer. We here at the Gaming Free Press expect to see Dr. Huxtable, Rudy, and the rest of the gang popping up in stores later this year.
