hitler game boyHistorian Discovers Hitler’s Photo Was Used To Make The Famous Game Boy Game Pak Logo

Back in 1989, when the original Nintendo Game Boy was released games received an “Official Game Boy Game Pak” seal on them. Similar to the Official Seal Of Quality logo found on NES game paks, the Game Boy logo signified that buyers were purchasing authentic Nintendo Game Boy software.  The red, black, and grey logo featured an outline of a person playing the game system while wearing ear buds.

Now a historian in Peru has discovered that the outline is eerily similar to the profile of Adolf Hitler.  Going so far as to over lay the logo over Adolf’s face to show any one can easily see the inspiration.

A request for comment from Nintendo by the Gaming Free Press was immediately ignored.  So we’ll let you tell us:

Was Adolf Hitler’s face the inspiration for the Game Boy Game Pak logo?  Let us know in the comments below.
