It is believed that the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas is preparing for protests and possibly violence this weekend as it plays host for the PlayStation Experience event. The event designed to celebrate all things PlayStation will be receiving significant gaming press along with an increase in armed security patrols to snuff out any unrest.
“Targeting events where the gaming press is involved is important to our cause,” explains organizer Joan (not her real name), “it targets young people and this is what we need most now.”
Despite nationwide protests some people are skeptical that there will be violence, much less a protests or even a boycott. But apparently the Venetian isn’t taking any chances as patrons have tweeted photos of evacuation maps prominently displayed throughout the hotel and exhibit floor.
