AtGames the makers behind several retro plug n play game consoles including the Atari, ColecoVision, and Intellivision Flashback consoles is believed to be hard at work on a Dreamcast plug n play game console.
An employee at an online retailer who asked to remain anonymous sent the Gaming Free Press pricing and feature details on this mysterious plug n play console. What we know so far:
- The device will retail for $50
- The device will have HDMI output only
- The device is built inside the shell similar to that of a Dreamcast controller, but does not have a VMU slot.
- The system will feature over a dozen popular SEGA Dreamcast games
- The games load instantly
No one knows for certain where the development of this device is at nor do we have an idea of a release date. Emails sent to AtGames were not returned.
