Sony has yet to own up to the existence of the PS-Vita 3000 after reports of a patent started to spread like wildfire on the internet. But an anonymous, yet reliable source from within Sony has told the Gaming Free Press that the new model will be officially announced at E3, and at a crazy low price
“Expect to pay $99.99 for this new model. The screen is made of cheaper materials, but there is one advantage that this model has over the previous two: a genuine Micro SD port.”
The news of a Micro SD port is significant as many gamers felt that they were being held over a barrel by the Vita’s proprietary memory port. E3 is only a few weeks away and hopefully the rumors will pan out.
