“Deal of a life time” – Albert Almonds
Late Thursday afternoon, Albert Almonds, a popular realtor in Newark New Jersey tweeted that “[he] just snagged an ultra rare copy of Super Mario Bros. for a measly $2200.”
The smooth talking property baron who is known for his publicity stunts, attributed the purchase to appeal to the hipster demographic. The Gaming Free Press contacted Albert who had this to say:
“Everyone wants to meet the cat who spent $2200 for an ultra rare copy of Super Mario Bros. That cat would be me. Let me sell your home!”
But not everyone was amused by the news. Albert’s wife Judy apologized for her husband’s behavior tweeting in response “Ignore this idiot. He had too much to drink and was using eBay with two accounts. Bidding against himself.”
